To be seen, to be truly noticed and understood, starts with seeing yourself. Growing up, I struggled with identity, but I have been lucky to find comfort in how I present myself to the world. I’ve discovered my safe space within horror communities that embrace queer voices and celebrate the discomfort of being different. I excel in collaborative environments that value every voice and a strong work ethic. I believe everyone deserves a safe place where they belong, and if that means creating it for myself and others, I’m ready to do so. With a background in sculpture, my goal is to always be learning new techniques throughout the means of production so I can be better equipped to handle any challenge that comes my way in the future. As an artist, one wishes to have their ideas, creations and presence acknowledged and impact their audience in some way. Through my art, I wish to offer those in need with validation, healing and connection, while also challenging those in complacency out of their comfort zone to foster empathy and awareness.
